New Housing, Library and Cultural Space coming to BAM

The last of the city-owned lots in the BAM cultural district are moving forward with new development. Hundreds of new residents will live there a few years now. The good thing is that there will  be affordable housing, a grand public plaza and library built there but no new school for Downtown Brooklyn.  An opportunity lost as this was city-owned land.
